I have all three, and found them very competitive. No rigorous testing for sure, but Yahoo matched Google for utility on the job for me, and that is where I do the majority of my searching. That would be a meme which I can see catching on with 'regular people', as in "hey did you know you can search Yahoo and see stuff that's just been posted to the web?"
