Record Profit for Apple’s Closed System
Apple turned in a record $1 billon quarterly profit after selling 21 million iPods — yeah, that closed system strategy is sure weighing them down — when the iPhone hits the market, they’ll probably sink like a stone.
Speaking of which, from the genius mind of Loren Feldman at 1938 Media:

Hi Scott,
Nice to meet you been a fan. I’m humbled. Thank you for the very nice words.
Loren
Loren,
Thanks for the comment, nice to meet you as well. I don’t think I’m in a position to bestow praise that should lead anyone to be humbled — I should be thanking you for making me laugh my ass off — while you were simultaneously being insightful — very few people can pull that.
